FALLS OF ROUGH, Ky. – Rough River Dam State Resort Park is preparing some good food for hungry guests in January and February.
The
state park near Leitchfield will host some monthly specials for prime
rib and seafood lovers, as well as a Mardi Gras buffet on Feb. 21.
Here are the details:
Prime Rib Dinner Buffet
Begins
Jan. 21, continuing on the third Saturday of each month served 4:30-8
p.m. The buffet will feature carved prime rib au jus, Southern fried
catfish and hushpuppies, Southern fried chicken, chef's choice entree
and chef's selection of country vegetables. It will also include soup,
salad and dessert bars. The price for adults is $17.95 plus tax,
children (6-12) $7.95 plus tax, and children 5 and under eat free.
Seafood Night
Begins
Feb. 3, continuing on the first Friday of each month from 4:30-8 p.m.
The dinner features regional favorites such as catfish fiddlers,
peel-and-eat shrimp, Southern catfish, seafood chowders, baked fish,
clams, seafood pastas, seafood salads and frog legs. The dinner also
includes endless soup, salad and dessert bars. Alaskan crab legs will be
available at market price plus tax. Price is $17.95 plus tax, children
(6-12) $7.95 plus tax and children 5 & under eat free.
Mardi Gras Buffet
Feb. 21, 4:30-8 p.m.
Featuring
French Quarter chicken, steamed shrimp, seafood jambalaya, Cajun baked
fish, chicken and sausage gumbo, Southern fried catfish, pork ribs,
dirty rice, okra, red beans, and cob corn. Served with endless soup,
salad and dessert bar. Price is $12.99 plus tax, children (6-12) $6.99
and children 5 & under eat free.
Rough River Dam State Resort Park
